Getting around the Island
Although Curacao is a small Island, transportation is essential to reach your destination. When you're staying in the City Center there's a lot you can do within walking distance, but in case taking long walks is not your thing, taxi’s or rental cars can be reserved at the Front Office. If you're more interested to mingle with the locals, the bus station is located behind the hotel and will cost you max. FL2.50 per person!
1. Historical Curacao
Visit some of Curacao's historical sights in the center of the City. You can view Fort Amsterdam or Rif Fort and even visit some museums around the area. The well known Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue is also in the city and is the oldest surviving synagoge in the America's. Curacao's city center is filled with tons of shops where you can purchase a wide variety of things from cosmetics to clothing to technology, shoes, souvenirs and so much more. On both sides of the city, Punda and Otrabanda, there are so many shops to choose from. There's no doubt you'll find what you are looking for in the middle of Willemstad.
3. Visit a museum

Eventhough these musea are all in the city center Willemstad, we do reccommend a rental car, bus or taxi to help you get there, as they are still pretty far by foot.

4. Go for a swim!
